  • Product Subject Matter Knowledge: Develop understanding in Instructure’s product suite to act as part of the strategic advisory team for custom development and services opportunities.

What you will need to know/have:
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5+ years as a lead Project Manager in a technical environment, with a demonstrable track record of managing high-stakes, client-facing custom software projects.

  • Methodological Mastery: Expert-level command of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, specifically as applied to fixed-scope/fixed-fee client engagements.

  • Professional Certification: PMP or Scrum Master certifications are preferred.

  • Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including experience managing technical integrations involving APIs and LTI standards.

  • AI-Enhanced Execution: A forward-thinking approach to project management, including the practical application of Generative AI tools to automate status reporting, enhance documentation, and improve day-to-day processes.

  • Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the executive level.

  • Operational Excellence: High professional stamina with a meticulous eye for detail and the organizational mastery required to navigate complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Collaborative Demeanor: A composed and constructive approach to feedback, with the ability to maintain a positive, high-performance team culture under pressure.
