Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead utility infrastructure projects from planning through delivery. This role supports a wide range of water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives, with responsibilities scaled based on experience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with clients, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that serve communities. Senior-level candidates will take on broader leadership, mentoring, and strategic responsibilities..
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and deliver utility infrastructure projects, including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals.
Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Monitor project performance, including budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
Ensure QA/QC compliance for all project deliverables and documentation.
Track labor utilization, revenue forecasting, billing, and documentation.
Serve as the firm’s representative at client meetings, public hearings, and presentations.
More senior PMs will also
Conduct site visits and construction observations as needed.
Lead multiple utility infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
Mentor engineers and project managers, providing technical guidance and career development support. Oversee proposals, contracts, fee justifications, and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
Proven track record managing drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
Experience range:
Project Manager: 7+ years of relevant experience
Senior Project Manager: 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Knowledge of utility design standards, regulations, and construction practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
