Job Summary 
The Senior Project Manager is a client-facing role responsible for leading complex, high-impact projects in a professional services environment. This position ensures delivery against scope, budget, and timelines while managing client relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams. The role requires significant expertise in enterprise software, supply chain solutions, and digital technologies, with a proven ability to deliver results in consulting and IT-driven project environments. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility 

  • Develop detailed project plans, tracking progress via PMO standards and tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project) 

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks; prepare milestone acceptance documents for client alignment and billing 

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, internal resources, and external consultants for successful execution 

  • Oversee project RAID (risks, actions, issues, decisions) and escalate concerns appropriately 

  • Ensure clear, consistent communication with clients through status reporting and regular project reviews 

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation in alignment with PMO standards 

  • Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to PMO processes, tools, and reporting 

  • Partner with leadership to analyze project performance, adoption, and alignment with client and company goals 

Competencies 

  • Proven client-facing project leadership in consulting/professional services 

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software, enterprise architecture, agile software development, and digital technologies 

  • Expertise in supply chain solutions and process manufacturing environments 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills 

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Advanced computer literacy including Office Suite, project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence) 

  • Ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams 

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • At least 8 years of IT consulting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in project management within a professional services firm 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business) 

  • Experience in manufacturing or retail industries; process manufacturing industry experience preferred 

  • Project Management certification highly desirable (PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) 

  • Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus 

Position Type and Expected Working Hours 

  • Full-time position; core business hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with flexibility as needed 

Travel 

  • Up to 25% travel may be required
