Job Summary

The project involves a sophisticated web application that requires a hybrid testing approach. It balances traditional, high-precision automation with modern, autonomous AI workflows.

The environment is Python-centric, utilizing Pytest as the primary driver for Playwright and Selenium scripts. The project emphasizes the entire testing pyramid—covering UI, API, and End-to-End (E2E) flows. There is a strong focus on "Quality Gates," meaning the QA process is a critical blocker/enabler within the CI/CD pipeline. This isn't just a maintenance role. The mention of Agentic QA suggests the project is at the forefront of testing technology, aiming to implement autonomous or AI-assisted validation to expand coverage and reduce manual maintenance.

Since the role involves both manual testing of new features and building automation for regression, the product is likely in a state of continuous feature expansion where release confidence and observability are top priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Advanced Automation: Architect and scale UI, API, and E2E frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and Pytest.

  • Agentic QA Leadership: Revolutionize testing by leveraging AI-driven workflows for autonomous test generation, self-healing scripts, and intelligent defect analysis.

  • Strategic Manual Testing: Execute high-value manual testing for edge cases, usability, and new features where human intuition is critical.

  • CI/CD Integration: Embed automated suites into deployment pipelines to enforce strict quality gates and increase release confidence.

  • Full-Cycle Collaboration: Drive quality from the start by participating in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and design reviews.

  • Bug Advocacy: Perform deep-dive root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to improve system observability and testability.

  • Quality Standards: Manage the end-to-end documentation process, from creating test data to reporting metrics and defining "Definition of Done" standards.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • Automation Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks from scratch using Python (specifically Pytest).

  • Tooling Expertise: Mastery of Playwright and Selenium for web automation.

  • Manual Testing Foundation: Ability to perform rigorous manual testing, including exploratory, edge case, and usability testing.

  • SDLC Integration: Experience working in an Agile environment (sprint planning, requirement analysis) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Defect Management: Expert at root cause analysis, logging detailed bug reports, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

  • Testing Strategy: Proven ability to identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and regression value.

What We Offer
  • 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive. All it takes is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.
