Job Summary

They're seeking a senior QA engineer to join their passionate testing team. This role demands a deep understanding of testing methodologies with a focus on black-box testing (providing inputs and validating the outputs) and a drive to push the boundaries of software quality assurance. You'll be responsible for designing, automating, and executing advanced test strategies to ensure the flawless functionality and user experience of their software products.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA to translate requirements into comprehensive black-box test plans.

  • Design and develop intricate test cases leveraging advanced black-box testing techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, state transition testing, combinatorial testing).

  • Craft robust test automation frameworks utilizing industry-leading tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) to achieve high test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software QA engineer , specializing in test automation frameworks and tool implementation

  • In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Mastery of test automation frameworks and experience with performance testing tools

  • Experience with API testing is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Passion for software quality and a relentless drive to deliver exceptional user experiences.

  • 3+ years of experience in Automation Framework Design and Implementation.

  • Familiarity with languages like JavaScript, or TypeScript with Cypress Component Testing.

  • Good understanding of SQL for data-driven testing familiarity with tools such as Karate, postman, soapUI or similar for API testing and validation.

  • Basic Docker knowledge is a plus.

  • Ability to work in parallel to development.

  • Fluent English level.

  • Located in LATAM.
