Job Overview SummaryAs a Senior Recruiter II, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing talent acquisition strategies for senior, executive, and highly specialized roles across the organization, with a strong focus on clinical research and life sciences talent. Leveraging advanced sourcing methodologies and deep industry and clinical market expertise, you will lead complex searches, serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, mentor team members, and drive recruitment initiatives that align with organizational and workforce planning objectives. Your leadership and understanding of the clinical research landscape will directly contribute to building high-performing teams and positioning the organization for sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Leading and strategizing highly complex recruitment campaigns focused on senior, executive, and specialized positions, ensuring alignment with organizational and workforce planning goals.
- Contributing to and influencing the overall recruitment strategy, helping shape the company’s talent acquisition direction and long-term workforce planning initiatives.
- Serving as a strategic talent advisor and primary point of contact for business leaders, providing consultative guidance, market intelligence, and coaching in close partnership with hiring managers and their teams.
- Designing and executing innovative, targeted sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber and niche candidates, leveraging deep industry and market knowledge.
- Building and sustaining strategic talent networks within the life sciences industry, proactively developing and maintaining pipelines of evergreen and hard-to-fill talent.
- Leading and enhancing the candidate assessment process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining a high standard of evaluation and candidate experience.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, modeling best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Managing complex or high-visibility recruitment projects, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful outcomes and alignment with broader organizational initiatives.
- Ensuring data integrity and leveraging insights within the applicant tracking system (ATS) to inform decision-making and reporting.
- Providing thought leadership and insights on industry trends, competitive intelligence, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies.
- Driving collaboration and effective communication across all organizational levels, strengthening stakeholder relationships and influencing talent decisions.
This role is open to candidates working remotely in the USA, preference for CST or EST time zones.
Basic Qualifications- 10+ years of progressive corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience, including comprehensive sourcing and full lifecycle recruiting across complex and specialized roles.
- Experience recruiting in the life sciences and/or clinical research industry.
- 7+ years of experience advising and influencing senior leaders, including Sr. Director and Executive-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn), along with expertise in advanced and competency-based interview techniques.
- Proven experience leading complex recruitment campaigns and managing multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate as a strategic talent advisor.
- Experience with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience recruiting for highly specialized, scientific, technical, or regulatory roles within clinical research organizations (CROs), biotech, pharmaceutical, or related life sciences companies.
- Demonstrated ability to shape and influence talent acquisition strategy at a departmental or organizational level.

- Experience mentoring and developing recruiters or junior talent acquisition team members.
- Strong data analytics skills with the ability to leverage recruiting metrics to influence decision-making.
- Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices in recruitment operations.
- Professional certifications (e.g., AIRS, SHRM, LinkedIn Recruiter certifications).
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
- Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.

The base salary range for this role is $90,367.00 to $165,673.00. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
