Maintain backend services in Rust, integrate and maintain the company’s React web presence, build metaverse infrastructure and netcode in .NET within Unity, and develop blockchain integrations for customer transactions. The role requires broad programming knowledge, Linux proficiency, rapid learning, interest in crypto and blockchain development, and the ability to complete complex projects. GCP and Kubernetes experience is advantageous, while netcode, metaverse, game development, and backend service experience are pluses.
This is a remote position.
The company is a high-throughput public sharding blockchain platform that was designed to scale to thousands of transactions per second, tailored towards enabling creating secure data-driven decentralised apps, and designed to meet the scaling requirements of machine learning and financial algorithms.
They’re looking for a capable Rust Sotware Software Engineer to join their team and work on their metaverse and application infrastructure.
MISSIONS
- Maintaining backend services in Rust.
- Integrating and maintaining the company's web presence in React.
- Writing metaverse infrastructure in .NET (inside Unity) and the company's netcode.
- Writing code to interact with blockchain technologies to provide control and durability for customer transactions.
Profil
- A good degree in Computer Science/ Engineering in a Top University and solid ability to read and understand code quickly.
- An interest in Crypto/Blockchain development.
- Interested in working in a variety of other programming languages, Rust being the favourite Backend language, Dart/Rust for mobile applications, and typescript where relevant.
- Good knowledge of a variety of programming languages and systems, including the ability to learn rapidly.
- A willingness to at least learn how to write smart contracts and interact with, if not implement, blockchains.
- Good proficiency with Linux.
- Working knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Proven ability to deliver on complex projects to completion.
A Plus : Experience of Netcode, Metaverse or game development, and Backend service development would be advantageous ( not a requirement).
