Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software for controlling and processing signals.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for modulation, demodulation, signal analysis, and jamming techniques.
- Integrate software components with hardware platforms, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to high code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate closely with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and test engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring system reliability and stability.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in C/C++ and Git.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman).
- Experience developing software within an Agile team.
- Experience with Linux software development.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience integrating software in a lab setting with lab equipment.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
- Experience with Kernel and Driver Development.
- Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW) software.
- Experience with software automated test development and execution.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
