Provi is a leader in the B2B digital marketplace for the wholesale alcohol industry, and we’re seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Marketplace Team. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of the core platform that powers our customer and partner experiences. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing high-performing, scalable, and maintainable micro-frontends while supporting the migration from legacy systems to modern architectures. You will also work on developing internal tools that improve operational efficiency and empower teams across the organization. Leveraging your expertise in micro-frontend frameworks, modern web technologies and cloud-native platforms, you will enable Provi to deliver seamless, reliable, and innovative solutions to marketplace users and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and implement scalable, performant micro-frontends and modular architectures using frameworks like React.
- Integrate with robust backend services, APIs, and integration frameworks to ensure seamless communication between systems.
- Build and maintain internal tools that streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency across teams.
- Collaborate on the migration from monolithic systems to modern, modular micro-frontends.
- Apply best practices to decommission legacy systems while ensuring service continuity and performance.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance, addressing bottlenecks and improving reliability.
- Ensure the marketplace platform and tools are highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver features that enhance customer and internal user experiences.
- Partner with operations and support teams to ensure platform scalability and reliability.
- Participate in Agile workflows to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with customer-facing platforms or internal tools.
- Proven success contributing to front end platforms
- Experience with system migrations or architecture transformations
- Strong knowledge of micro-frontend frameworks (e.g., Module Federation, Webpack, Single-SPA).
- Hands-on experience with modern web development frameworks including Svelte, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Backend expertise with Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, particularly AWS.
- Understanding of internal tooling frameworks or custom solutions for operational teams.
- Effective communication skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing strategies.
