As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll architect and scale core platform features, integrate fintech APIs, and uphold engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.

We’ve signed multiple billion-dollar RIA firms, raised venture capital from leading investors, and are moving quickly toward our Seed round. Now we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us at the ground level.
The Role You’ll work directly with the co-founding team to design, build, and scale core parts of our platform. This is a rare opportunity to own major pieces of the codebase and help shape the future of wealth management technology.
What You’ll Do
- Architect, build, and scale features across the Wavvest stack.
- Integrate with custodians, aggregators, and other fintech APIs (Apex, Plaid, Charles Scwhab, etc.).
- Work on AI-driven workflows powering financial planning and advisor efficiency.
- Collaborate directly with founders on product direction and technical strategy.
- Uphold engineering best practices—code quality, testing, CI/CD, and security.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend experience with Node.js or Python.
- Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) or similar cloud platforms.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.
- Interest in fintech, wealth management, or financial services is a plus.
