We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of advanced 5G network solutions. As a key member of our MI MN RAN RD SCAIO&S Space R&D (L06) department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of high-end telecommunication technologies. Our team works on prototyping and product development, offering an end-to-end perspective and lightweight processes. You will have the opportunity to lead technical discussions, own complex features, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities- Work on prototyping and product development for LTE and 5G network solutions.
- Own complex features and ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Create and review requirements for functional, design and interface specifications.
- Analyze and solve complex engineering problems in radio technologies area.
- Support colleagues in completing tasks and share your expertise.
- Collaborate with customers and understand their requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in 5G technology.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages: C/C++, Python and Go.
- Knowledge of 3GPP standard for LTE / 5G.
- Experience with LTE and 5G L2 Packet Scheduler and L3 software development.
- Experience with version control systems (git/gerrit).
- Knowledge of Linux and Bash.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on telecommunication technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends.
- An advantage is the knowledge and experience with Nokia AirScale products.
