We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Full Stack Software Engineer to join our ClinicalPoint team. In this remote-based role, you will accelerate the delivery of complex roadmap initiatives, reduce dependency bottlenecks, and strengthen architectural decision-making to provide long-term technical stability and ownership. Operating as an individual contributor, you will build and maintain high-quality backend services using Java and dynamic frontend applications with the Angular UI framework. Additionally, you will utilize advanced enterprise-approved AI-assisted development tools (such as CoPilot, Codex, and Claude) to maximize development efficiency, lower defect rates, and enhance product reliability. Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java backend development
- 2+ years of experience with the Angular UI framework (or other modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks)
- 2+ years of experience working with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL
- 2+ years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and using Docker containerization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Experience with Python programming, specifically for generative or predictive AI integrations
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices and frameworks
- Strong architectural design and systems engineering expertise
- Strong analytical skills and experience in clinical or healthcare-focused technology platforms
- Hands-on experience utilizing enterprise-approved AI-assisted coding tools (such as Claude, Codex, or CoPilot) in a professional development environment
