As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will play a central role in helping enterprise customers understand how Shippeo can address their transportation visibility challenges and deliver measurable business value.

Working closely with Account Executives and the wider go-to-market organization, you will lead discovery, solution design, value articulation, and product demonstrations throughout complex sales cycles. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, translating their supply chain processes, operational priorities, and technology environment into practical and deliverable Shippeo solutions.

This role supports customers across the Americas, with opportunities to collaborate on international opportunities alongside colleagues in Europe and Asia. You will report into the regional organization and work closely with the global Solution Consulting leadership team.

Please Note: This role is based in Chicago  and operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days per week in the office.

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Function: Operations, Solution Consulting

Travel: Frequent domestic and international travel may be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Advisory: Partner with Account Executives across the sales cycle, leading discovery workshops to uncover customer business drivers, supply chain priorities, and operational requirements.

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Apply Shippeo’s Visibility Engineering methodology to translate complex customer processes into clear solution designs, including platform capabilities, integrations, data flows, and workflow adoption plans.

  • Value Articulation & Selling: Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations and quantify business outcomes—such as operational efficiencies, predictive ETA accuracy, and cost savings—to operational and executive stakeholders.

  • Presales Excellence: Create high-quality presales deliverables, including technical proposals, proof-of-value plans, Statements of Work (SOWs), and responses to customer RFPs.

  • Proof-of-Value Execution: Lead proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives, managing technical dependencies, identifying solution risks early, and ensuring prospective clients see clear operational value.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Product, Professional Services, Customer Experience, and Engineering teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure seamless handover post-sale.

  • Enablement & Best Practice Sharing: Contribute to global Solution Consulting playbooks, sales collateral, and demo environments while sharing market insights to continuously elevate team standards.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, presales, management consulting, or enterprise SaaS, with direct exposure to supply chain, logistics, or transportation technologies.

  • Domain & Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS architectures, data integration, and how digital logistics solutions drive value within complex global supply chain environments.

  • Consultative & Storytelling Skills: Proven ability to break down complex operational challenges, present tailored software solutions, and establish trust with both technical teams and executive leadership.

  • Autonomy & Collaboration: Highly autonomous and self-directed, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, international environments while collaborating cross-functionally across remote teams.

  • Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
