Position Overview:

The Senior Solutions Architect is a customer-facing, technical role focused on helping customers successfully integrate EverPass solutions into their IT and AV environments.

This role spans pre-sales technical discovery, post-sale implementation, and ongoing operational enablement. You will work directly with restaurant operators, IT teams, and AV partners to assess current infrastructure, identify gaps, and design practical solutions that align EverPass hardware and software with real-world deployment constraints. You will validate installations in the field and create clear, repeatable playbooks that enable consistent deployments across many locations.

As a subject-matter expert in commercial AV matrix systems, you will design and support complex multi-source, multi-display environments, ensuring EverPass operates reliably within a wide range of existing AV architectures while providing clear guidance on when and how customers should evolve their systems to meet EverPass requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with Sales to support deal cycles through technical discovery, solution design, and onsite assessments
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to restaurant operators, IT leaders, and senior technical stakeholders
  • Assess existing AV, network, and IT infrastructure, including AV matrix systems, signal routing, and display zoning
  • Design and recommend scalable solutions for multi-screen, multi-zone environments using EverPass hardware and software
  • Help scope deployments, identify risks, and ensure technical feasibility prior to deal close

Post-Sale Implementation & Deployment

  • Lead and support implementations of EverPass hardware (media players) and software (apps on Smart TVs and devices)
  • Travel onsite to customer locations to:
  • Validate infrastructure readiness
  • Support or oversee installations involving AV matrix switchers, encoders/decoders, and control systems
  • Troubleshoot complex signal flow, latency, and compatibility issues across displays and audio zones
  • Ensure deployments meet EverPass quality, performance, and reliability standards
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex AV, networking, and device-related challenges

Playbooks, Documentation & Enablement

  • Create clear, scalable playbooks for:
  • AV matrix configurations and common signal-routing scenarios
  • EverPass hardware and software deployments
  • Varying customer environments and technical sophistication
  • Develop documentation usable by:
  • Senior technical operators and IT teams
  • Non-technical restaurant operators and staff
  • Continuously improve installation standards, diagrams, wiring schematics, checklists, and SOPs based on field learnings

Third-Party Installer Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party installers and AV partners
  • Define installation standards and acceptance criteria for matrix-based AV systems
  • Train installers on EverPass systems, signal flow best practices, and playbooks
  • Perform quality control and ensure consistency across installs
  • Provide feedback to improve installer performance and scalability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term customer satisfaction
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to relay field insights, customer feedback, and deployment constraints related to AV matrix environments
  • Influence hardware, software, and tooling decisions based on real-world deployments

Qualifications:

Technical & Domain Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, AV engineering, systems engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing, installing, and supporting commercial AV systems, including AV matrix switchers and signal routing architectures
  • Proven experience integrating new hardware and software into existing IT and AV environments
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Multi-source, multi-display video environments
  • Audio systems and multi-zone audio
  • Signal flow, latency, and compatibility across AV components
  • Experience deploying technology in restaurants, bars, or similar commercial hospitality environments

IT & Infrastructure Fundamentals

Customer-Facing & Communication Skills

  • Proven experience working directly with customers in high-touch, onsite environments
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both:
  • Senior technical operators and IT teams
  • Non-technical restaurant operators and staff
  • Experience supporting both pre-sales technical discovery and post-sale implementation
  • Comfortable acting as a trusted technical advisor during sales cycles and deployments

Operational & Execution Skills

  • Experience creating clear documentation, playbooks, and installation standards
  • Ability to operate independently in the field, manage priorities, and solve ambiguous problems
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer locations
