Job Description:

The Senior Solutions Engineer 1 (SE) plays a crucial role in our team. As a seasoned professional, you will work independently with minimal oversight, providing creative and effective solutions to immediate problems. You will advise others on complex issues, contributing to company objectives and achieving goals in innovative ways. Your understanding of the wider business and ability to network will be essential for success.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Considered a trusted advisor of prospects, and customers.
Demonstrates ability to increase deal size throughout sales process.
Ability to leverage great relationships to identify and drive commercial opportunities.
Demonstrate ability to increase deal size throughout the sales process.
Reliable member of the team to provide technical expertise when responding to RFPs.
Enable those around you on discovery, metrics and success criteria.
Guiding, and scoping POVs to maximizing POV value and minimizing competitor threat.
Ability to scope very complex, large and/or novel deployments.
Have successful creation and use of M1 and M2 metrics.
Highly integrated with POD, across deals, qualification pipeline.
Contributes to wider technical initiatives or projects outside of the day-to-day S role
Transfer knowledge, mentor and peers, and add to knowledge bases
Contributes at least once a quarter to best- practice initiatives within the region
Proactive engagement with TCMs in deals, enablement, and relationship building.
Travel regionally, and potentially internationally, to client sites
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years in a software sales engineering role; experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
Strong competitor knowledge and excellent skills at de-positioning.
Industry level expert, start to gain wider industry recognition (events, certs, professional network).
Strong knowledge in both on-premises and cloud networking and technologies.
Advanced used of MEDDPPIC.
Deeply understand customer pain, from real world experience or long-term customer experience.
Very impactful within meetings and with C-level.
Communicate with authority and validation, so can be brought in as an impact expert.
Passion for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and a willingness to continuously develop your skillset.
Master’s or bachelor’s from an accredited university.
