Job Description

Hitachi Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect, Supply Chain Management to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale business transformation programs built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding organizations through complex supply chain modernization initiatives while ensuring solutions align with business objectives, industry best practices, and long-term digital transformation strategies.

You will provide leadership across the entire project lifecycle, from solution envisioning and blueprinting through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization. Working closely with business stakeholders, project leaders, solution architects, developers, finance teams, manufacturing teams, integration specialists, and Power Platform consultants, you will help define scalable, secure, and future-ready supply chain solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across core supply chain processes, including product information management, inventory management, procurement and sourcing, sales and order management, warehouse management, transportation management, manufacturing, master planning, forecasting, intercompany operations, and enterprise asset management. You will be responsible for guiding solution design decisions, overseeing functional architecture, managing delivery risks, mentoring consultants, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical execution.

As a senior leader within the practice, you will help clients leverage emerging capabilities such as AI-powered supply chain planning, intelligent warehouse operations, supplier collaboration technologies, Copilot experiences, automation solutions, and cloud-based data platforms. You will stay current with Microsoft's release cadence and evolving supply chain innovations, translating new capabilities into practical business outcomes for customers.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong consulting skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology functions. You will play a key role in driving delivery excellence, fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and helping clients achieve sustainable operational improvements through modern supply chain solutions. The role profile emphasizes architectural leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic alignment, continuous innovation, mentoring, solution quality, and end-to-end delivery ownership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of ERP Supply Chain Management implementation experience, including at least 5 years leading full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management implementations.
  • Must have experience in a large consulting organization, preferably a Microsoft Partner.
  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple supply chain domains, including inventory management, procurement, order management, warehouse management, transportation management, manufacturing, planning, forecasting, intercompany operations, and enterprise asset management.
  • Strong consulting and Supply Chain experience, including requirements analysis, business process design, blueprinting, data migration strategy, security design, testing, deployment planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with modern Microsoft technologies and integration patterns, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake, Dataverse, Dual-write, Azure DevOps, and enterprise application integration is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled supply chain capabilities, including intelligent demand planning, supplier collaboration solutions, Copilot experiences, warehouse optimization technologies, and emerging agent-based extensibility concepts.
  • Microsoft certifications strongly preferred, including MB-330: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate and MB-335: Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert (Retired). Candidates with comparable experience who are actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.

 

Additional Information

Base Salary Pay Range*: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD

*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.

* NOTE: This role is not an immediate hire, we do expect to hire to the position in the near future and are attempting to build pipeline candidates.
