We are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Surety Counsel. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert for a diverse portfolio of surety claims, leveraging strong legal, communication, investigation, and negotiation skills to drive claims to resolution. The ideal candidate will appreciate the sensitive nature of surety claims and possess extensive knowledge of coverage, liability, and contract interpretation, along with fluency in bond procedures and compliance. Experience handling claims and providing business support related to commercial surety bonds is a plus.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate
- Five or more years of experience managing surety claims.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
