About the Role
Toku is building token compensation and compliance solutions that help companies manage stablecoin payroll, invoicing, token payroll, cap tables, and trading plan compliance with ease. We are looking for a UI Engineer to design and build interfaces that make these complex financial workflows intuitive, scalable, and performant.

In this role, you will work closely with design, product, and backend teams to create seamless user experiences for financial transactions. You’ll focus on building high-performance, modular UI components, optimizing for speed and clarity, and ensuring the platform meets the highest standards of security, accessibility, and usability.

This is an opportunity to work on challenging design and engineering problems in a fast-moving space, where precision, reliability, and user trust are critical. If you have a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and experience building modern financial applications, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build a highly performant, scalable, and intuitive front-end for a complex financial application
  • Design next-generation user interactions that reduce cognitive load and make complex tasks frictionless
  • Implement intelligent UI components that anticipate user needs, adapt dynamically, and provide real-time feedback
  • Develop a design system and component library that enforces consistency, accessibility, and brand presence across the platform
  • Optimize for instantaneous load times and fluid, native-like interactions using cutting-edge web technologies
  • Build real-time financial dashboards and transaction interfaces with advanced data visualization techniques
  • Design workflows that guide users effortlessly through financial operations while abstracting complexity
  • Ensure impeccable security in the UI layer, with strong session management, biometric authentication, and role-based access control
  • Lead performance optimization efforts to ensure an ultra-fast, low-latency user experience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product teams, and backend engineers to deliver seamless full-stack integrations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of front-end engineering experience, building sophisticated web applications at scale
  • Mastery of TypeScript and JavaScript, with expertise in React (Next.js), Vue, or SolidJS
  • Deep experience in state management (Zustand, Recoil, Redux, or React Query)
  • Proven ability to develop high-performance, real-time financial dashboards and transaction interfaces
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing component-based UI architectures and design systems
  • Expertise in advanced animations and interactions (Framer Motion, GSAP, or equivalent) to deliver a premium UX
  • Strong background in secure UI development, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), OAuth, SSO, and encryption at the UI level
  • Experience implementing progressive web apps (PWAs), SSR, and hydration strategies for optimal performance
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and frameworks (Recharts, Visx, etc.) for presenting complex financial data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Senior ICs experience in fintech or enterprise financial software
  • Previous experience building products from scratch in high-growth startups
  • Comfortable working without rigid processes and large support teams
  • Passion for designing ultra-modern, cutting-edge user interfaces with a focus on both form and function
  • Hands on and execution focused
