About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sr. UX Designer exposed to casino gaming and hospitality domains to join our innovative team. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences that delight our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and visually appealing digital products

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading/facilitating design sessions with executive stakeholders, as well as product and engineering.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs and behaviors
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts to inform design decisions.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize the user experience.
  • Collaborate with UI designers to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UX trends and technologies.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer.
  • Experience in Gaming industry (Casino gaming) / Hospitality industry is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design work, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.

Customer Communication

  • Effectively listen to customer needs, concerns, and feedback. Understand and respond to customer emotions and perspectives.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Build strong relationships with customers based on trust and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently. Keep the customer informed about project progress and potential issues.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination

  • Work collaboratively with teams from different functions (e.g., development, design, marketing).
  • Identify and manage dependencies between teams and resolve conflicts and disagreements
  • Align teams towards common goals and objectives through regular communication
  • Ensure shared understanding of project requirements and goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • A passion for creating beautiful and functional user experiences.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 42,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 147,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
