The Services Commercial Operations Engineer is responsible for the development of commercial offers for our Services activities in the Africa, Middle East region. He/she elaborates offers with the internal stakeholders, negotiates with the client, presents the offer to the internal risk review, and collaborates with sales managers in order to win orders. This position follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do:
- Managing and coordinating commercial tasks related to offers in conjunction with application engineers and sales managers
- Review and redline customer terms and conditions (T&Cs) and other commercial documents
- Developing the commercial offer in accordance with the internal offer review process
- Coordinating with the various actors the development of a risk assessment and mitigation strategy for the project
- Collaborating with the sales manager, negotiating the offer with the customer, and identifying deviations from standard business terms and conditions
- Ensuring the effective transfer of contracts to the project implementation team after the order has been booked
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or relevant experience
- Min 10 years of experience of sales processes / contracts and negotiation of contractual and technical conditions
- Proficient in operating in a matrix and transversal organization
- Demonstrate leadership and have a track record of functional management
- Have a good sense of communication and customer service
- Rigorous, independent and have an ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Excellent command of English, both verbally and written

What will make you stand out:
- Experience in financial risks, and tax aspects of contracts
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus
- Experience with projects, developing proposals or structuring deals
- Additional language from Europe country is a bonus
- Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions; experience in structuring and negotiating contracts to minimize business risk
- Experience with services contracts (Long-Term Service Agreements)
- Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution projects or power projects
- Previous experience in the Energy industry
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Self-sufficiency and ability to program manage
- Ability to think strategically and be operationally rigorous
