Role

We’re looking for a passionate, motivated, and intuitive video editor, specializing in Facebook and Instagram Short Form and Ads, to join our growing creative team. This role is responsible for editing the team’s Facebook and Instagram videos. This includes the editing and graphics that go into our video productions.

Balancing strategy and creativity are what you do best. You understand the best practices of pacing, structure, music, and graphic needs to produce top tier Facebook and Instagram content week after week. You’ve done this before at a high level and are able to show the trackable progress you made on previous channels you’ve worked on.

Responsibilities
  • Editing 20 Facebook and Instagram videos Ads per week
  • Contribute to Pre-packaging (title and thumbnail concepts) for your videos
  • Track performance and review retention data of your edits
  • Pay close attention to comments on Facebook and Instagram
Results
  • You will maintain a 5 video buffer for the team's content (stay 5 videos ahead of uploads at all time)
  • Improve Link Click Through Rate by 0.5% Channel wide on ads
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the Facebook and Instagram Advertising space – Hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy
  • Versatility with multiple video formats (talking head, vlog)
  • Strong motion graphics background
  • Experience with sound design and leveling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success on Facebook and Instagram as the editor for a growing channel
  • Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack)
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Facebook and Instagram video production
Location
  • Remote
Salary
  • A paid test project for $12 / reel for 50 reels
  • Then if we continue we will find a competitive hourly rate ranging from $10 / hour to $15 / hour
