Job Description
Responsibilities:
Work in a structured environment to develop products using standard software engineering practices
Develop software to support portfolio accounting of various products in the investment business
Work with end-users to define requirements and deliver solutions
Document products for end-user consumption and maintenance efficiency
Guide and mentor other developers in project work
QA the work of other team members and complete test cycles to ensure production readiness
Analyze requirements to design highly usable and efficient solutions
Qualifications:
2- 5 years experience in Simcorp Dimension and it's integration tools: Data Extractor, Filter Tool Box, Communication Server and Portfolio Calcuations
2-5 years experience in Oracle 11.5 - designing, organizing, and consuming
Experience in real time messaging (e.g., IBM MQ)
Experience in XML and XLST
Professional development experience with significant projects
Capable of working independently with demonstrated attention to detail
Hard working and self motivated, requiring minimum supervision
Excellent analytical and communication skills
History of projects requiring application and system integration
Ideal Candidate Would Have:
Finance background with an understanding of investment products and accounting
Experience in C# /.NET
Experience in Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or other reporting tools
Experience in ETL and EAI tools
MS Windows skills & Unix
Business Experience & Education:
-- BS, MS in Computer Science or similar discipline
-- Experience in portfolio accounting, reconciliation and client reporting
