POSITION SUMMARY:

The Site Director leads the programmatic, instructional, and administrative success at our Chicago campus. As the operations and program lead, you will play an integral role in managing day-to-day functions across teams and concerning facilities. You will also be responsible for daily supervision and management of our instructors, ensuring that the curriculum is taught consistently and following Per Scholas’ program requirements, to foster continuing growth in their classroom management and engagement skills, ensure career development activities and onsite programming are occurring consistently and on track to meet goals. You will also manage the Recruitment & Admissions Manager to oversee our prospective learner pipeline and onboarding process. 

The Site Director works collaboratively with the Managing Director,  Director of Development,  Talent Solutions Director, and Professional Development Manager  in guiding the strategic direction, overall management, and program performance of the Chicago campus.

The Site Director will occasionally act as the lead representative of Per Scholas Chicago in external meetings with employer partners, community partners, and funders. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Program Leadership and Campus/Site Supervision:

  • Serve as Chicago primary liaison and point of contact for training delivery and services with administration and team leadership, and building operations management.
  • Collaborate with the National Training Team and other key national teams in implementing all aspects of instructional training and programmatic administration, ensuring service delivery quality standards, and implementing necessary operational process changes and change management at the campus level.
  • Manage the Chicago Training staff, including Technology Instructors and Instructional Assistants, to ensure the high-quality delivery of technology training and workforce preparation to Per Scholas learners, as well as provide additional services to local alumni. 
  • Manage the Recruitment and Admissions staff, including the R&A Manager, to ensure course enrollment goals are met. 
  • Ensure consistent data collection and reporting, proposing and enacting process improvements as needed.
  • Support the Managing Director in maintaining campus licensing compliance. 
  • Coordinate with building management and Per Scholas Core Mission Support team to maintain oversight of the physical campus facilities, resolving site-specific issues and communicating important information regarding on-site space.
  • Work with Purchasing Manager to research, order, and purchase technology requirements and supplies as needed by on-site program staff, learners, and the facility.
  • Support the Managing Director, Talent Solutions Director, and Director of Development as needed with external stakeholder meetings and events. 
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US:

Professional Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience, including:
  • Experience managing teams of strong performers to success
  • Experience deploying a replicable process/methodology in a local campus/site
  • Experience in adult learning/education with a focus on technology is a plus
  • Supporting relationship management at multiple levels of corporate hierarchies
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills within performance measurement frameworks
  • Past success linking operational and business functions to strategic objectives
  • Understanding of or prior experience in the technology field

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range between $85,000 year to $90,000/year, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
