Modivcare is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our personal emergency response system. This role is responsible for building and maintaining robust infrastructure, improving system reliability, and partnering with development and operations teams to ensure high-performing, resilient systems.

This role…

  • Maintain and improve scalable, reliable cloud and on-premises software infrastructure while providing solutions to reduce operational risk
  • Build and maintain availability and performance monitoring tools to identify operational risks and issues
  • Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis of operational incidents, and implement proactive solutions
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems and lead incident resolution efforts
  • Advise development teams on designing and implementing features with reliability and scalability in mind
  • Develop disaster recovery solutions and document processes and critical system components
  • Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline deployments, operations, and overall system efficiency
  • Administer infrastructure and third-party SaaS components that support the system

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related role
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Experience with Microsoft development stack (Windows, SQL Server, IIS, .NET)
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell, etc.)
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and on-premises systems preferred
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD)
  • Understanding of networking and security best practices
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.)

Salary: $97,200-$130,000
