Site Safety Manager: The Site Safety Manager leads a Project Team in implementing BEC’s HSE Management System on the project to ensure an acceptable level of risk, compliance to HSE regulations, and the wellbeing of all involved.
Responsibilities:
- Exemplify the BEC Culture. Provide a new Team-Member’s first impression of BEC during orientation training. Conduct both onboarding and developmental training. Conduct Safety observations and coach personnel on safe work. (one-community)
- Manage project risk to an acceptable level by ensuring project compliance to BEC’s HSE Management System along with regulatory and customer requirements. Manage HSE issues, concerns, and incidents with care, discernment, and haste. (full-Commitment)
- Report project Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental status to Senior Leaders and Customers both verbally and in writing. Be a student of the work. Self-study to understand the work and manage the associated risk. (true- Craftsmanship)
- Exhibit the BEC Culture in performing incident investigations, cause analysis, reporting, and implementing corrective/recurrence control actions.. (high-Character)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to climb wind turbines
- Must be available to travel 75%+
- 5+ years of Safety Management Experience
