Technical Requirements

• In-depth knowledge integrating and maintaining Sitecore CMS and related web 3rd party plug ins and solutions.

• Excellent web development skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience developing web applications and services utilizing .NET

• Proficient at website technical design and web client-side interaction including HTTP, cookies, session management, redirects and cross domain technologies, Microsoft TFS (or like), automated deployment solutions (TDS or like).

• Command of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance and optimization techniques.

• Strong experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) and experience with service-oriented.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sitecore Developer to assist with the implementation and maintenance of a newly created web portal. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading a team and working with the business teams. The objective is to streamline performance, reduce complexity, and improve the usability of the website while taking advantage of the latest technological enhancements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a growing Sitecore team.

• Work with business teams to enhance functionality.

• Develop and design additional enhancements to existing systems.

• Create technical specifications based on functional specifications.

• Write code to meet technical specifications.

• Test code and make appropriate modifications.

• Complete appropriate documentation in compliance with all procedures and standards.

• Recommend improvements/modifications to designs.

• Assignments are broad in nature and require ingenuity and originality.

• Solves complex problems often taking a new perspective using existing solutions.

Education and Training

• Bachelor of Science in Business/Computer Science or related field.

• Sitecore Developer Certification a plus.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 3 years of experience. Hands on experience building high traffic websites using Sitecore enterprise Content Management System (CMS).

• 3 years with Sitecore, and over 4 years of web development experience.
