Lee Tilford Agency (LTA) is expanding our Social Media team and hiring a creative, idea-driven content producer based in or near Austin.

This is a creativity-first role.

We’re looking for someone who can consistently generate strong short-form content ideas for established consumer brands — particularly retail — and bring those ideas to life quickly. The production is hands-on but not cinematic. The thinking needs to be sharp.

You should be comfortable walking into a working session and generating multiple platform-native ideas, spotting trends early, and translating business objectives into content that feels natural on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms.

You’ll work across multiple brands in a full-service agency environment, collaborating with creative and paid media teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate original short-form content ideas across multiple brands (10–20+ viable concepts per month)
  • Turn retail promotions, in-store moments, and seasonal campaigns into engaging, platform-native content
  • Identify trends, formats, audio, and cultural moments early and adapt them quickly
  • Present and explain creative ideas internally and occasionally to clients
  • Collaborate with paid media teams to create content suitable for both organic and paid use
  • Personally shoot and edit short-form vertical content (TikTok, Reels, etc.)
  • Capture content on-site at studios, retail locations, and client environments
  • Direct on-camera talent and produce fast-turn, mobile-first content
  • Help maintain distinct brand voices across multiple accounts
  • Stay current on platform changes and audience behavior

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6+ years creating content for established brand social accounts (agency or in-house preferred)
  • Strong creative instincts for short-form, platform-native content
  • Experience working across multiple brands or business objectives at the same time
  • Hands-on experience shooting and editing vertical short-form video
  • Comfortable operating lightweight production equipment in retail or on-location environments
  • Experience collaborating with marketing or paid media teams
  • Clear communicator who can explain and defend creative ideas

Retail experience is strongly preferred, especially translating in-store activity into social content. However, exceptional consumer brand experience will also be considered.

Portfolio Required

Applicants must include:

  • Links to at least two brand social accounts you contributed to
  • 3–5 short-form videos you personally concepted and produced
  • A short explanation of your role in each example

Applications without portfolio examples will not be reviewed.

Work Environment

  • Must be located in or near Austin, TX
  • Frequent on-site shoots at our studio and client retail locations
  • Travel within Texas several times per year; occasional out-of-state shoots (2–3 per year)
  • Standard hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST, Monday–Friday
  • During work hours, employees are expected to be focused solely on LTA responsibilities

All necessary computer and production equipment will be provided.
