OVERVIEW

The Social Media Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's social media strategy while taking an active role in content creation. This leadership position ensures the smooth operation of the social media team, manages employees, and coordinates with higher management. As one of the main content creators, the Social Media Manager will be featured in videos and become one of the key faces of the brand's social presence.

Responsibilities include creating and managing UGC content, overseeing social media campaigns, scheduling posts, and maintaining the content calendar. The role also involves efficiently communicating all deliverables to senior leadership and driving consistent growth in social media engagement, audience size, and brand presence, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding growth targets. The Social Media Manager plays a critical role in content ideation, creation, and scheduling, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee & manage a small social media team for cohesive and consistent content (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Create engaging, UGC-style social media content that aligns with the company's voice, including featuring yourself in videos for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Drive growth in engagement, audience size & brand presence.
  • Develop brand awareness and execute social strategy.
  • Monitor trending topics & viral content.
  • Utilize tools like CapCut & Canva for content creation.
  • Quickly create & engage with content around trending topics & viral content.
  • Manage a consistent social content calendar.
  • Oversee copy for all social channels (TikTok, IG, Twitter).
  • Monitor social metrics and prepare performance reports.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the social team for high-quality, creative output.
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of social media productions, campaign content shoots, lifestyle productions, and brand activations that support business and marketing objectives.
  • Own social strategy and content planning for influencer events, experiential activations, pop-ups, and branded experiences to maximize reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Direct on-site social coverage during events, overseeing real-time content creation, live social storytelling, creator coordination, and audience engagement.
  • Manage relationships with photographers, videographers, creators, influencers, agencies, vendors, and cross-functional partners to ensure successful execution of productions and activations.
  • Develop and oversee production timelines, run-of-show documents, shot lists, content capture plans, and event deliverables to ensure projects are executed on schedule and within scope.
  • Identify and capitalize on real-time social trends, creator content opportunities, and viral moments to amplify campaign performance and audience engagement.
  • Lead influencer participation and content execution, including talent coordination, deliverables management, approvals, and event logistics.
  • Partner with Brand, Creative, PR, and Marketing teams to ensure all event and activation content aligns with brand standards, campaign objectives, and business goals.
  • Analyze activation and event performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future social productions, influencer programs, and experiential campaigns.
  • Manage budgets, production resources, and vendor relationships as needed to support efficient and impactful event execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

2 years minimum management experience

REQUIRED

In-depth knowledge of current social media platforms and trends

REQUIRED

3–5 years of professional experience in Social Media

PREFERRED

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

DESIRED

1–3 years of experience in creative content production
