As a Software Engineer on the Business Systems team within Platform Engineering, you'll build the systems that make our mission run: managing certifications and credentialing, handling enrollment and orders, keeping learners informed, and holding the record of everything they've earned. You'll spend most of your time writing backend services and APIs, connecting certification workflows to commerce, communications, and the third-party platforms we depend on, including payment processors, learning management systems, and credentialing vendors.
Location: LATAM 100% Remote. Working hours are based on the US Pacific Time Zone. Minimum 6-hour overlap

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in modern AI development practices, specifically architecting and leveraging
AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and LDD principles - 3+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining production software services,
ideally in a cloud-native environment - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go and Python are used)
- Proficient with test-driven development
- Proficiency with Git, including cherry picking, squashing, and rebasing
- Proficiency with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is used)
- Experience designing, writing, and working with APIs, including integrating with third-party
services such as payment processors, learning management systems, and credentialing
platforms - Working familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is used) and monitoring and observability
tools, enough to support and troubleshoot the services you build
