About Vector

Vector builds mobile and web technology that makes freight move faster. Our platform is used by warehouses, distribution centers, and carriers to streamline check-ins, appointments, dock scheduling, and driver workflows.

About the Role

You'll join our web application team, working alongside frontend engineers, designers, and product managers to build and improve the features our customers rely on every day. Our webapp is built with React and TypeScript.

What You’ll Do

  • Help architect our web application

  • Work with designers to build UI components

  • Write tests

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated professional engineering experience building complex, commercially available software applications

  • Fluency with TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5

  • Proficiency with Javascript frameworks such as React and Angular

  • Strong understanding, building and debugging of scalable, high performance web applications built with reusability and componentization in mind

  • Experience building front end components with React using modular architecture

  • Knowledge of state management frameworks, such as Redux or Flux

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred. You should be able to demonstrate superior understanding of CS fundamentals

Salary Range

$160,000 - $180,000 USD

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as region, role level, relevant experience and skills. Pay ranges are reviewed and updated typically each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
