Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


o Design, develop, and maintain software applications for use within Logistics.

o Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

o Maintain high standards of code quality and integrity.

o Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in software development.

o Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Work on complex problems, analyze situations, and apply problem-solving skills.

o Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers. Contribute to team meetings and offer innovative ideas and solutions.

o Assist in project planning and adhere to timelines. Report progress and challenges to the management team.

o Provide second-level contact to customer inquiries, requests, and technical issues via various communication channels to convey resolutions to customer issues.

o Where required, demonstrate the software to stakeholders and customers.

o Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

o Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to products, software, or services.

o Utilize problem-solving skills to analyze and identify root causes of problems and provide solutions or workarounds.

o Collaborate with other technical teams and engineers to escalate and resolve complex issues and deliver effective solutions.

o Handle escalations from Tier 2 Support Team.

o Be a strong collaborator, a part of a small team, that touches every part of the company.


Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:


o 5+ years of related experience.

o Technically inclined and enjoy wearing a lot of hats.

o A capable quantitative thinker who learns quickly.

o Strongly proficient in at least one programming language (C++,C#, Delphi, Java or similar)

o Experience with database technologies (SQL)Experience with standard API’s such as REST, SOAP and JSON, XMLKnowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

o A second language is a plus
