Job Responsibilities
- Work with large datasets using Enterprise Data Science tools and practices
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data engineering activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages: Python, Java
- Experienced in Unit testing, Version Control, SDLC
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expereince with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- Experience coding in Spark
- Cloud experience: AWS
- Exposure to Databricks
- Experience in Agile frameworks
