What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?
- Tech Stack: Expertise in SQL is required along with a full-stack tech background and candidates with experience with Rest APIs will be preferred. Candidates should have worked with REACT and experience with AI coding tools
- Remote: This position is eligible to be fully remote

What will YOU be doing for us? To design, develop and maintain software applications of varying complexities and on varying tech stacks - in the healthcare space.
What will YOU be working on every day?
Maintain and extend functionality in Billing and Enrollment system
Collaborate with system architects and other lead engineers to develop, modify and maintain software applications for internal and external client use.
Work collaboratively with internal resources to assess and understand technical specifications and business requirements for new systems.
Maintain current modules, applications or processes in production.
Actively participate on an Agile scrum team providing architectural guidance, sizing work efforts, and decomposing functionality to iteratively deliver value.
Unit test development
Triage escalated production issues, and affect solutions
Code spelunking
Conduct systemic impact analysis for required changes
Investigate technologies and research for solutions related to architecture and requirements
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various aspects of enterprise platform
Assist in establishing feature estimates and timelines
Perform software design and coding according to SKYGEN and accepted secure coding patterns
Mentor less tenured Software engineers
What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?
- Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field highly preferred or equivalent years of work experience
- Required Level of Experience
- Typically 5 to 7 years of experience in software development as well as proven architectural experience.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities such as but not limited to:
- Strong knowledge of software design and development techniques and principles
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to others
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and communication styles
- Strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in various technical areas:
- SQL Server 2019 or other Relational DB
- Exceptional relational database design skills
- REACT
- AI Coding tools
- Deep T-SQL knowledge and skills
- Object Oriented Design (e.g. SOLID)
- ASP.NET MVC
- ASP.Net Core
- REST API
- Strong C#
- JavaScript
- Secure coding patterns

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.
Compensation Range: $114,838 - $172,258
Compensation Midpoint: $143,548
