Role Overview
Infrastructure Software Engineers at 6sense own platform engineering responsibilities and contribute to building and maintaining the Internal Developer Platform. This role ensures our services and infrastructure remain scalable, reliable, secure, and highly available while enabling engineering teams to self-serve environments, deployments, observability, and infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and scale services and infrastructure components
  • Own critical systems including Hadoop, Presto clusters, Kubernetes infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
  • Develop and deploy services to improve availability, usability, and observability
  • Write, review, and debug production-grade code in Python and Java
  • Design and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
  • Implement observability solutions (metrics, logging, alerting)
  • Contribute to infrastructure security and configuration management best practices
  • Support engineering teams with platform enablement and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to open-source projects when required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
  • Strong Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Python and Java
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable service-oriented architectures
  • Experience with high-availability distributed systems
  • Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code
    Base Salary Range: $144,932.29 - $212,567.36  The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO). #Li-remote
