About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer who’s passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-quality software. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that power the future of securities-based lending. Whether you’re a full stack developer or backend-focused, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering technology that drives real impact.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across the stack or focus on backend services.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs that power our financial technology platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile methodology.
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in a Software Engineer role
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
- Experience using Docker for containerization and deployment.
- Exposure to automated testing and version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices principles.
- Experience in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or financial integrations preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or Azure) preferred.
- Knowledge of authentication standards such as OAuth2 or SSO preferred.
