Job Summary & Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

Layered Extended Security Operations (LEXSO) is Constellis’ advanced multi-sensor integration platform, purpose-built to deliver real-time situational awareness and operational automation. By integrating leading-edge sensors, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-driven analytics, LEXSO enables responses at the speed of sensing to protect critical infrastructure, bases of operations, and high-value assets worldwide.

We are seeking a Software Engineering Support Specialist to act as a force multiplier, working under the direct guidance of our Technical Product Director (TPD) to support engineering leadership and execute strategic product initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will take direction to drive Agile governance, translate complex technical architectures into executive communications, and maintain meticulous documentation. In this role, you will have the ability to act as the vital bridge between software engineering teams, executive stakeholders, and on-the-ground field operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the Scrum Master/Agile Coach for multiple engineering swimlanes (Platform, Processing, UI/UX, Integrations). Enforce strict ticket hygiene and the "No Jira Ticket, No Work" mandate in alignment with TPD directives.
  • Translate high-level initiatives and contract deliverables into granular, actionable Epics, Stories, and Sub-tasks that align with defined enterprise project taxonomies.
  • Synthesize complex technical data, architecture diagrams, and sprint metrics into clean, high-impact presentation decks for Program Management and Executive review (e.g., PI Planning decks, AARs).
  • Create, organize, and maintain living software documentation (API contracts, PR templates, architecture rules, disaster recovery definitions) in Confluence to eliminate "Oral Tradition."
  • Facilitate large-scale Program Increment (PI) Planning events, dependency mapping sessions, and sprint retrospectives, actively tracking risks (RIDAC) and action items on behalf of product leadership.
  • Act as a technical translator between field realities and software development, ensuring the engineering team understands edge-case device behaviors and network constraints.
  • Work is typically based in a remote environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours; however, some extended or weekend hours may be required to support critical software releases and some working events could require in person participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • 1–3 years experience in a Technical Product Owner, Scrum Master, Technical Writer, or Field Application Engineering role within a software development environment.
  • Deep, hands-on mastery of Jira and Confluence (advanced roadmaps, dashboard creation, JQL).
  • Exceptional visual storytelling and presentation skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides); ability to build polished decks for executive audiences.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles (SDLC), microservices architectures, and strict deployment environments (Dev -> Test -> Prod).
  • Ability to attain a Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certification.
    • Previous experience supporting DoD, government, or high-compliance enterprise software projects.
Benefits

Constellis offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects its commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
