About The Role:
The Solution Architect role offers the right candidate the opportunity to take on an early-stage leadership role at a fast-growing company that has the highest standards for talent, fun, and client success. The position will support best-in-class digital experience development for our clients. Your work will require close collaboration with our Digital Experience Optimization team and leverage a combination of front-end development in commerce platforms (Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify), content management systems (WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Webflow) as well as A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely, AB Tasty, Monetate) according to our clients’ needs and technology stack.
We are looking for an individual who is skilled at translating designs and acceptance requirements into high-performing, user-friendly experiences.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Digital Experience Optimization team to understand and inform design requirements.
Create and deploy responsive, accessible, and performant front-end designs across landing pages, websites, and a/b testing platforms.
Act as primary technical subject matter expert on web development and QA processes to advise clients on solutions where Ovative is not directly responsible for development.
Lead development process from requirements gathering all the way to production launch, ensuring code is clean, scalable and easy to maintain.
Leverage problem solving abilities to translate complex business needs into scalable, client-ready solutions.
As needed, support requirements development and implementation of web analytics tracking for our clients through industry standard platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
Troubleshoot a broad range of website, data, and technology issues across various marketing technology platforms
Actively pursue innovative new technology opportunities for our clients and our company.
Explore and advance use of AI-powered tools for development, QA, experimentation, personalization, and optimization (e.g., AI-assisted code generation, testing automation, and performance analysis).
Serve as a key contributor to innovation by designing and refining front-end solutions that address emerging challenges and opportunities related to data privacy regulations, AI-assisted development, advanced personalization, and the evolving measurement landscape.
Requirements:
2+ years of relevant experience in web development
Experience utilizing web languages (i.e. JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their deployment
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience building modern, responsive user interfaces
Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
Experience converting Figma designs into scalable, high-quality, production-ready code
Fluency with Git-based code repositories, including team workflows for branching, merging, and pull requests
Experience with common commerce platforms employed by our clients like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Adobe Commerce and content management systems like WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Webflow
Familiarity and desire to explore ways to leverage AI tools like Claude or Cursor to assist in efficient code development and QA
Strong technical background demonstrating an ability to understand business goals and make actionable technology recommendations
Sound conceptual, analytical, and “big picture” problem solving skills
Excellent communication (e.g., oral, written, presentation) and deliverable production skills
Preferred skills:
Strong expertise with React, including experience with Next.js and TypeScript; familiarity with Vue and/or Angular a plus.
Experience working in A/B testing and experimentation platforms like Adobe Target, Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Monetate
Experience with tag management practices, including debugging, configuring, and deploying site tags in platforms like Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager or Tealium
Experience with server-side tagging implementation and management
Experience with Mobile Application code development and analytics tracking
Digital measurement and/or marketing data background is a plus
Ability to communicate development requirements both internally and externally to client teams
Analytics and/or marketing technology management experience
Familiarity with cloud computing and big data
Pay Transparency
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Solution Architect positions, our compensation ranges from $75,000 to $93,000, which is inclusive of a 15% bonus.
