MissionAs a Solutions Engineer, you will deliver fast, reliable, API driven integrations for mid market customers by translating business workflows into scalable, repeatable technical solutions. You will partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to deliver best in class integration experiences that drive adoption and long term success.
What You’ll DoDesign, build, and deliver integrations between Choco and customer systems using low-code tools (e.g. n8n).
Own integration projects end-to-end from discovery to go-live and ongoing improvement.
Partner with Account Executives to support pre-sales discussions with technical insight.
Troubleshoot and maintain integrations to ensure reliability and performance.
Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams.
Share best practices and contribute to scaling integration delivery globally.
This role is primarily customer facing, with a strong focus on solution design and customer outcomes rather than hands on coding or software development.
2–5 years’ experience in solution engineering, IT/ERP consulting, or systems integration.
Experience managing end to end API integrations, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support across multiple customer environments.
Experience with low-code or automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or similar.
Basic programming knowledge (e.g. JavaScript or Python).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
Excellent communicator in ability to make complex ideas clear and simple.
This position requires in office attendance 3 days per week (T/W/Th) in our Chicago office.
