**This position will travel on average 4-5 days per month to customers and AWS offices in North America. Innovative also has a remote RTO policy - all remote workers must travel into our Rochester, NY offices 2x quarter (company paid)
As a Solutions Architect on our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, migrating, and managing clients' cloud infrastructure and architectures using AWS. You will also work alongside team members to help migrate customer's systems to the cloud, optimizing cloud solutions, assisting developers with application lifecycles, recommending technologies to meet client needs, contributing to R&D, and mentoring team members.
Responsible for:
. Working with Innovative Account Executives and customers to plan technical projects:
· Understanding and documenting customer need and success criteria
· Planning projects and programs during the presales cycle
· Reviewing and managing project milestones daily
· Providing weekly reporting on personal metrics
. Working with the Innovative Sales and Partner Alliances teams to ensure the best financial model for our customers:
· Understanding partner and Innovative customer inventive programs
· Working with the sales team to develop value-driven business cases
· Clear understanding of business drivers behind cloud adoption
. Acting as a subject matter expert for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform
· Must have a deep understanding of modern cloud migration methodologies and practices
· Top candidates will demonstrate deep expertise in at least one serverless AWS service

What experience you need (degree, experience, specific skills, etc):
· 5+ years professional IT experience
· 2+ years professional AWS or Azure experience
· At least (1) AWS or Azure Certification (professional level)
Estimated travel for this role is 5 days out of the month is designated territory.
Salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 annually.
This position is also eligible for a commission plan, based on closed AWS project revenue. The expected annual OTE for this position is estimated to be between $220,000-$250,000.
