About the Role

As a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer at Cyberhaven, you will play a vital role in supporting our Mid-market and SMB Sales teams. You’ll be responsible for assisting with opportunities throughout the pre-sales process—from initial qualification through production hand-off—primarily focusing on accounts with fewer than 2,500 employees. This position requires a blend of technical acumen and strong communication skills to deliver compelling product messaging and demonstrations. You’ll guide technical product evaluations, build and maintain key partner relationships, enable and support channel partners, and collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering. Your contributions and field insights will help drive continuous product improvement and foster success in a channel-driven sales model.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Mid-market and SMB Sales teams with opportunities in a pre-sales capacity from qualification through production hand-off.  Generally, these are accounts with less than 2,500 employees.

  • Learn, create, and deliver compelling messaging and demonstrations of products and solutions that differentiate from competitors or legacy solutions.

  • Guide technical evaluations via POC ownership, and manage the evaluation process to a successful conclusion.

  • Maintain key partner technical relationships and effectively enable and demonstrate channel partners to excel in a channel-driven sales model.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on new feature releases and provide feedback on current feature capabilities based on field experience/input.

Who you are

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role, specializing in complex pre-sales activities within an enterprise cybersecurity environment.

  • 2-3 years of experience deploying endpoint agents on Windows and Mac platforms.

  • Prior experience with data protection technologies (DLP, IRM, DSPM, CASB).

  • Strong sales presence and excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.

  • Skilled in problem-solving, both independently and as part of a team.

  • Open to travel
