As a Sales Engineer in our Cloud Division, you’ll be the go-to technical advisor partnering with our Sales team to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that drive real business outcomes. You’ll play a critical role in the pre-sales process by understanding customer needs, architecting solutions, and ensuring seamless hand-offs to implementation while working with cutting-edge cloud platforms and technologies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and design tailored cloud solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to gather requirements, uncover challenges, and recommend optimal architectures.
  • Create solution diagrams, proposals, and TCO/ROI analyses to clearly articulate business value.
  • Deliver product demos, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and performance benchmarks to validate solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
  • Architect solutions to work with our OpenStack offering, understanding infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Recommend best practices in automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Incorporate monitoring, observability, and security into all solution designs.
  • Conduct workshops and enablement sessions to help customers maximize adoption and satisfaction.
  • Share customer insights to influence product roadmaps, sales strategies, and technical marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Pre-Sales roles within cloud, hosting, or SaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms: OpenStack preferred, plus AWS, Azure, GCP. 
  • Knowledge in virtualization, networking, high availability VPNs and firewalls.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), IaC/automation (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
  • Security and compliance knowledge including IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and cloud pricing models.  
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical discussions.
  • AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Cloud Architect, or OpenStack certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, MCP servers, and leveraging AI within cloud infrastructure.

The annual salary for this position is $60,000+ base plus bonus opportunity.
