Description

We’re hiring a Solutions Engineer to join our growing Solutions Engineering team! The Solutions Engineer will work closely with our sales team in a technical pre-sales capacity to help solve real-world cybersecurity problems for prospective customers. You will identify and help define customer requirements and align our solutions’ offerings accordingly to drive value and secure the technical win. 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain expert technical knowledge of Grip Security’s SaaS Security Control Plane solution and competitor technologies 
  • Identify and help define prospective customers’ technical requirements / use-cases to align Grip’s technical and business value proposition 
  • Engage C-level executives, technical cybersecurity professionals, and major lines of business through delivering in-depth solution demonstrations and managing proof-of-concepts 
  • Partner with Sales to develop and execute strategy for securing the technical win for net new business as well as customer upsells you are engaged with 
  • Dive into the cybersecurity community to remain informed of evolving threats, trends, and new technologies 
  • Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to serve as the voice of the customer and influence product innovation 
  • Exhibit Grip Security at conferences, partner events, and on-site meetings 
Requirements
  • 3+ years related work experience in Pre-Sales Engineering (cybersecurity required) 
  • Proficiency in IT fundamentals (cloud, computer hardware/software, databases, networking, and operating systems) 
  • Knowledge of information security concepts, domains, compliances, and standards 
  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management and cloud security solutions (IdP, IGA, CASB, etc) 
  • Experience leading technical presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences across all levels 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience 
  • Required Location: North Central or Great Lakes US
