About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will help drive technical sales cycles, from scoping and discovery through POCs and implementation. You’ll understand complex security requirements and translate them into compelling demos and architecture proposals, align with technical stakeholders, and ensure our platform is able to supercharge our customers’ cybersecurity programs.

What You’ll Do
  • Engage with customers to deliver polished demos and technical deep dive sessions

  • Design and run POC engagements end to end to ensure that customers understand the technical value of the Cogent solution

  • Work closely with AEs on deal strategy and sales cycles

  • Collaborate with R&D on product enhancements and roadmap feedback

  • Partner with Customer Success on pre sales → post sales handoffs

About You
  • 7+ years of enterprise SE experience in cybersecurity

  • Proven track record of working with Global 2000 organizations

  • Experience with technical cybersecurity products, ideally in the vulnerability management space

  • Deep industry relationships across customers, partners, and vendors

  • Able to deal with ambiguity and craft creative technical solutions to customer problems

  • Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence
