Redpanda is the first runtime and control plane for agent-data interaction — a unified platform that combines streaming, SQL analytics, and intelligent connectivity with the governance layer enterprise AI agents need in production.

Built on infrastructure already trusted by Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing startups, Redpanda enforces governance entirely outside the agent's data path, controlling what agents see, limiting what they do, and capturing a tamper-proof record of everything they touch, so organizations never have to choose between innovation and control.

About the Role:

Come and join our rapidly growing Solutions Engineer team! As a Solutions Engineer, you will help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners and provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations
For this role we are targeting individuals living on the West Coast, ideally in the Pacific Time Zone.

You Will:

  • Work alongside the sales team to introduce Redpanda to our potential customers

  • Lead product and solution briefings, build proof-of-concepts (POC), run live product demos, and prototype Redpanda integrations

  • Partner with Redpanda product management, engineering and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience

  • Identify and address customers' key technical objections and develop the strategies to address those blockers to adoption

You Have:

  • 3-8+ years of prior experience leading presentations, collecting requirements, developing solution architectures, and teaching prospective users or project teams how to use software similar to Redpanda

  • Comfortable developing/prototyping solutions in many different languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and Javascript)

  • Passion for working on complex technical problems and have a strong understanding of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies (Kafka ecosystem preferred)

  • Strong ability to build relationships with our partners, customers, and open-source users

  • Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding

  • Collaborative spirit and enjoy making sure each team gets customer feedback to provide great customer experience

  • Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences or wherever the work takes you

  • Comfortable with Linux and Kubernetes

  • Proficient with one or more of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP and Azure

U.S. base salary range for this role is $134,500 - $198,000, not including bonus and/or commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary. Your talent partner will share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
