We’re looking for an experienced and driven Solutions Engineer with deep expertise in cybersecurity, CMMC compliance, and enterprise IT management. You will be instrumental in helping PreVeil grow its customer and partner base, close complex deals, and elevate our technical reputation in the industry.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that will require close collaboration with Sales, Channels, Customer Success, Product, and Technical Support teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Engineering: Partner with the sales team to qualify leads, deliver compelling technical
    presentations, and help close deals—especially within large enterprises.
  • Partner Enablement: Collaborate with the Channel team to recruit, train, and support
    partners. Build credibility with partner technical teams.
  • Customer Success Support: Join strategic calls with key accounts to troubleshoot complex
    issues and offer expert insight on challenging use cases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Product and Support teams to design
    tailored solutions and escalate critical feedback.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a trusted advisor on CMMC, DFARS/NIST compliance,
    enterprise IT, and PreVeil’s platform for both customers and partners.
  • Compliance Expertise: Lead technical discussions around PreVeil’s Compliance Accelerator.
    Complete security questionnaires and support audits.
  • Tool Development: Contribute to the enhancement of Compliance Accelerator tools by
    providing input on content, usability, and technical accuracy.
  • Team Enablement: Mentor and assist in onboarding new Sales team members.
Minimum qualifications:
  • 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering or IT compliance role, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise IT
  • Strong knowledge of DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, and CMMC frameworks
  • CMMC certifications (or a strong desire to obtain them)
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise IT: networking, CAD environments, endpoint management
  • Confident communicator with both technical and management audiences alike
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for solving hard problems and making an impact
  • Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in startups or fast-paced small businesses
  • Familiarity with defense contractors and government IT environments
  • Prior involvement with channel/partner ecosystems
