Job Description Summary

  • Conducts in depth competitive and sales analysis for products within their product category and provides recommendations based on identified opportunities
  • Product life cycle management for existing skus.
  • Manages & maintains product data and product life cycle status in the system
  • Supports internal stake holders such as Customer Care, Operations, Planning and Sourcing, by being SME on their assigned category
  • Owns assigned secondary product category & works with Product Manager to develop 3-5 year business plan which addresses growth, profitability, new product
  • Clearly communicates product design direction including feature and performance expectations as well as timing requirements and supports market research as required.
  • Participates in monthly demand forecast in conjunction with input from Sales and Demand Management.
  • Interfaces moderately with Sales including participation in customer shows and visits.
  • Sets priorities for projects; Regularly communicates status of product to stakeholders

Experience

  • 2-5 years of product management, brand or channel marketing (internships included)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to push cross-functional partners to innovate.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data-analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with product development processes (Agile, Stage-Gate, or similar).
  • Experience working with customer research, pricing analysis, or product lifecycle management tools.

Education: Bachelor’s preferred, or 5 years of relevant product management experience

Salary

The compensation range(s) identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on compensable factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.

$70,652-105,979
