Description

Sophinea is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Analyst to join our team. As a SQL Analyst at Sophinea, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights to the organization. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop efficient SQL queries and reports.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with large datasets, extract and manipulate data, and create meaningful visualizations and reports. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our data analysis processes and collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions to business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SQL queries and reports.
  • Extract and manipulate data from various sources to generate insights and reports.
  • Perform data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using tools.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in data quality assurance and data cleansing activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven solutions to business challenges.
  • Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an SQL Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience in querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration is a plus.
