As an Sr Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide critical technical support and expertise to engineering teams, ensuring the successful development and implementation of advanced aerospace technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex engineering challenges, support product design and testing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance and reliability.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the innovation and quality of aerospace products by delivering expert engineering support that drives project success and operational excellence within Honeywell Aerospace.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical support to engineering teams in product design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and performance.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of engineering processes and best practices.
  • Analyze data and generate technical reports to support decision-making and project progress.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 4 years of experience supporting engineering functions in aerospace or related industries.

WE VALUE

  • Strong knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, product development processes, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency with engineering software tools such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design), MATLAB, or similar analysis and design platforms.
  • Experience in data analysis, technical documentation, and problem-solving within an engineering environment.
  • Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
