Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Alliance Partner Channel Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with alliance partners in the insurance industry. This individual will build go-to-market strategies with our partners, enable them to better sell our products, and ensure mutual growth and success. This role requires a strong understanding of channel sales, partner enablement, and relationship management within a B2B SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or insurance technology environment.

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $125,000 - $150,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.

What You'll Do
- Drive revenue growth through effective channel enablement and sales collaboration.
- Meet/exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual goals,
- Establish and grow strategic relationships with key insurance alliance partners.
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans that support partner and company objectives.
- Track, measure, and optimize partner performance against KPIs.
- Support new product rollouts by engaging partners through enablement initiatives.
- Exhibit behaviors that exemplify Applied Systems' Values in Action.
- Identify, onboard, and manage key alliance partners in the insurance space.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, CX and product to support partner success.
- Develop joint business plans and go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Enable partners through sales training, marketing resources, and product education.
- Monitor partner pipeline and performance, providing insights to leadership.
- Attend industry events and partner conferences to build relationships and promote Applied Systems.
- Negotiate contracts, incentives, and business terms with partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner-related initiatives and escalations.
- Maintain accurate partner records and forecasts in CRM systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to remove roadblocks to partner success.
We're Excited to Learn More About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office - Candidate must reside within North America
Your experience should include some or all the following:
- 5+ years of experience in direct sales or channel sales, preferably in the SaaS or insurance space
- Experience working directly with channel partners strongly preferred
- Leadership experience a plus
- Strong understanding of partner and channel sales models.
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships with external partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in the insurance or SaaS industry strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienc
