Job Summary & Responsibilities

 

Location: Remote with requirement to travel for business needs

 

Role Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Associate Brand Manager supports the innovation, marketing efforts, and business analysis for all products contained under Earth’s Best. This includes initiatives associated with growing current brand recognition, inclusive of consumption analyses and promotion/advertising strategy assistance. Additionally, the candidate will support new product commercialization processes including cross functional team leadership and strategy execution.

Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads project management functions for innovation and commercialization on Earth’s Best for new product initiatives, working with R&D, Packaging Design and Operations inclusive of developing detailed timelines and manufacturing forecasts with input from Sales, Operations and Finance.
  • Leading the S&OP forecast with input from Sales, Operations and Finance.
  • Project management lead on key growth driving & margin enhancement projects.
  • Identifies key business drivers and opportunities based on competitive/category trends, track & report on business results using syndicated data (Circana) and provide forecasting support for financial & strategy planning.
  • Advises on the development and timely execution of Brand Plans/ leading agencies (PR, Digital, and Consumer Promotions) to develop highly creative and cost-efficient campaigns.
  • Assists with other projects, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a consumer-packaged goods marketing, marketing analytics or project management role or related capacity

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with AC Nielsen or IRI preferred
  • Preferred knowledge & experience in the Food/Bev Consumer Product Goods Industry.

 

Competencies and Proficiency Requirements:

  • Experience with leading a cross functional team projects.
  • Experience analyzing data & translating to recommendations.
  • Excellent creative instincts and comfort with visual design.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced, entrepreneurial work environment and meet business driven deadlines.
  • Strong bias for action. Acts like an owner and can run independently.
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

 

Scope:

Financial/Budgetary Responsibility: Ability to monitor budgets and report on P/L activity associated with assigned marketing initiatives.

 

Team Size: no direct reports

Compensation and Benefits:
